1. Overview
Cop or Drop ("the Platform") is a fashion-only social community where users post outfits and receive community votes (Cop 💗 / Drop 💀). By creating an account — personal or brand — you enter into a binding agreement with Cop or Drop and commit to everything in these Terms.
One document, two account types. Sections 1–4 apply to everyone. Section 5–6 are for Personal Accounts. Sections 7–9 are for Brand Accounts. Sections 10–12 apply to everyone and explain what happens when rules are broken.
Age RequirementYou must be at least 13 years old to create a personal account and 18 to register as a brand.
AcceptanceChecking the agreement box on signup constitutes your legal acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
Changes to TermsCop or Drop may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Community Conduct
Cop or Drop is built on respect. The community thrives when people feel safe to express themselves. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited for all account types.
Hate Speech & DiscriminationAny content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality is grounds for immediate suspension.
Harassment & BullyingTargeted harassment, threats, doxxing, or sustained negative campaigns against any user or brand will result in account termination.
Sexual or Explicit ContentNo nudity, sexually explicit material, or content of a sexual nature involving minors under any circumstances. Zero tolerance.
Spam & ManipulationArtificially inflating vote counts, creating fake accounts, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour to manipulate rankings.
ImpersonationCreating an account that impersonates another person, brand, or public figure is prohibited.
Off-Topic ContentCop or Drop is fashion-only. All posts must feature clothing, accessories, or styling. Off-topic content will be removed without notice.

3. Content Rules
All content posted on the platform — photos, comments, messages, and profile information — must comply with the following.
Original or Licensed Content OnlyYou must own or have the rights to any image you post. Do not post photos of other people without their consent.
No AI-Generated Outfit PhotosAll outfit posts must feature real clothing on a real person. AI-generated or digitally fabricated fashion images are not permitted.
Fashion Content VerificationAll posts are reviewed by our AI moderation system. Posts deemed non-fashion will be rejected at the point of upload.
Comment StandardsComments must be constructive. Slurs, insults, and targeted abuse in comments will be removed and may result in account action.
⚠️ Our AI scans every post before it goes live. If your post is flagged as non-fashion, it won't be published. Repeated attempts to bypass moderation will be treated as a violation.

4. Privacy & Data
Data We CollectWe store your email, username, profile details, posts, votes, and messages to operate the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Account DeletionYou may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. All personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
CommunicationsBy signing up you agree to receive essential platform communications. You will not receive marketing emails without explicit opt-in.

5. Personal Account Rules
Personal accounts are for individual fashion enthusiasts. Your presence on the platform shapes the community for everyone.
Post AuthenticallyOnly post outfits you have genuinely worn or styled. Fabricating fits or misrepresenting your style undermines the community's purpose.
Vote HonestlyVote based on your genuine opinion. Vote manipulation — creating alt accounts, coordinating mass votes — is a bannable offence.
Engage RespectfullyComments should be constructive fashion feedback. Personal attacks, body shaming, or bullying in any form is strictly prohibited.
One Account Per PersonCreating multiple personal accounts to evade bans or inflate your stats is prohibited and all accounts involved will be terminated.

6. Style Score & Tiers
Your Style Score is calculated from the community's genuine votes on your posts. It directly determines your tier. Manipulating this score is a violation of these Terms and will result in score reductions and potential account termination.
Bronze
50–74% Cop Rate
Starting tier for all new accounts. Build your score through genuine community engagement.
Silver
75–84% Cop Rate
Your style is resonating. Keep posting consistently to maintain your position.
Gold
85–94% Cop Rate
Community-recognised style icon. Your fits set trends on the platform.
Platinum
95%+ Cop Rate
The highest tier. Near-universal community approval. Rare and prestigious.
Tier drops are permanent until earned back. If your cop rate drops below a tier threshold, you will be downgraded. Admins may also manually adjust scores for verified violations.
🏪 Brand Accounts
7. Brand Account Rules
Brand accounts undergo verification before being approved. Approval is not guaranteed and Cop or Drop reserves the right to reject or revoke brand status at any time. The following rules apply to all approved brands.
No Counterfeit or Fake ProductsSelling, advertising, or claiming affiliation with products that are counterfeit, stolen, or not legitimately yours to sell is grounds for immediate permanent ban and potential legal action.
No Non-DeliveryOnce a buyer confirms intent to purchase, you are obligated to fulfil or formally cancel. Repeatedly failing to deliver on confirmed orders will result in termination.
Accurate ListingsAll product descriptions, photos, sizes, and prices must be accurate. Misleading listings — including stock photos that don't reflect the actual product — are prohibited.
Professional CommunicationBrands must respond to buyer enquiries within a reasonable time frame. Harassment or unprofessional conduct toward buyers will result in a strike.
Keep Listings UpdatedSold-out products must be marked accordingly. Allowing buyers to enquire on unavailable items without updating stock status is considered misleading.
Honest Verification DocumentsAll documents submitted during application must be genuine and current. Submitting fraudulent registration documents is an immediate permanent ban.
🏪 Brand Accounts
8. Commerce & Listings
All transactions on Cop or Drop are facilitated through our in-app messaging system. Cop or Drop is not a party to any transaction between brands and buyers and is not liable for disputes arising from them.
Payments Handled Off-PlatformCop or Drop does not process payments. Financial transactions are arranged directly between brand and buyer. Both parties transact at their own risk.
Order Status UpdatesBrands must update order statuses (Confirmed → Shipped → Delivered) promptly. Failure to update statuses within a reasonable timeframe is a community violation.
Buyer ProtectionsBuyers who experience non-delivery, counterfeit goods, or harassment by a brand are encouraged to submit a report. Confirmed reports result in trust score reductions or account termination.

9. Trust Score
Every brand starts with a Trust Score of 100. This score reflects the community's confidence in your brand and is visible on your storefront. Confirmed violations reduce this score permanently.

Strikes cannot be removed once confirmed. Trust Score reductions are permanent. If you believe a strike was applied in error, you have 72 hours from notification to appeal via email.
⚖️ Enforcement
10. Violations & Consequences
When a violation is reported, the account is placed Under Review while our admin team investigates. During this period, the account remains accessible but may have certain actions restricted.

⚖️ Enforcement
11. Appeals Process
We believe in fair enforcement. If you believe an action taken against your account was incorrect, you may appeal.
72-Hour Appeal WindowFor brand application rejections and confirmed strikes, you have exactly 72 hours from the time of notification to submit an appeal. Appeals submitted after this window will not be reviewed.
How to AppealEmail [email protected] with your username, the violation reference, and any supporting evidence. Appeals without supporting documentation have a lower success rate.
Admin Decision is FinalAppeal outcomes are reviewed and decided by the Cop or Drop admin team. The decision following an appeal is final and binding.
No Appeals for Zero-Tolerance ViolationsAccounts banned for counterfeit goods, CSAM, or serious hate speech are not eligible for appeal under any circumstances.
⚖️ Enforcement
12. Admin Powers & Platform Rights
Cop or Drop administrators have broad authority to maintain platform integrity. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge and accept the following admin powers.
Score AdjustmentsAdmins may increase or decrease any account's Style Score, Tier, or Trust Score at their discretion if they determine a violation has occurred or a score does not reflect genuine community engagement.
Content RemovalAdmins may remove any post, comment, or profile content that violates these Terms without notice or explanation.
Account Suspension or DeletionAdmins may suspend or permanently delete any account found to be in violation of these Terms. Deletion removes all data, posts, and purchase history permanently.
Strike IssuanceAdmins may issue strikes to any account — personal or brand — for confirmed violations. Each strike is recorded permanently on the account and affects scoring metrics.
Investigation AccessAdmins may review any account's posts, messages, and activity history for the purpose of investigating reported violations.
Brand Approval AuthorityAdmins have sole discretion over brand application approvals and rejections. Approval is a privilege, not a right, and can be revoked at any time for cause.
Admin actions are logged. Every admin action — approvals, rejections, strikes, and score adjustments — is recorded with a timestamp and the acting admin's username for accountability.
